The Oak 02 Picture Ledge by weld & co makes it easy to put together your own personal gallery of photographs, artwork, and prints. The picture ledge can also be used as a narrow wall shelf in the living room, kitchen, or any other room of your home \u2013 a perfect place to keep small mementos.
\nThe picture ledge features a lengthwise groove that can hold photos, postcards, and small prints. Attaching a bulldog clip to this groove gives the ledge an even wider range of practical uses. So the Oak 02 Picture Ledge makes an attractive and handy shelf in all parts of the home.<\/p>\n

Care instructions<\/h2>\n

All our surfaces are extremely easy to maintain and do not require any special care.
\nFor cleaning, please use a feather duster or a soft, slightly damp cloth. If at all necessary, please use mild cleaning agents. Please do not use harsh cleaners, abrasive cleaners or cleaners containing solvents. They will attack the surfaces and do more damage than good.
\nPlease be sure to remove wet stains (for example, water, juice, wine) on wood surfaces as quickly as possible. Strongly staining stains (such as stains of fruits, tea, coffee and red wine) must be removed immediately from all surfaces.<\/p>\n

With a stable wall mounting and professional assembly, the picture ledge can be loaded with up to 20 kg.<\/div><\/div>
<\/span>Is the Oak 02 Picture Ledge also suitable for the bathroom?<\/div>
As a general rule, wood does not belong in the wet room and water should not be allowed to stand permanently on wooden surfaces. However, the increased humidity after showering and bathing does not pose a risk to solid wood. The surfaces of furniture and home accessories made of oak and walnut from weld & co are oiled. Thus, the wood is protected without losing naturalness. On request and for specific applications, we also offer lacquering.<\/div><\/div>
<\/span>How do I attach the Oak 02 Picture Ledge?<\/div>
The Oak 02 Picture Ledge is attached to masonry walls (made of stone, concrete blocks, etc.) with two wall anchors and two screws. When mounting to lightweight walls (include drywall, sheet rock, gypsum board, and wood and wood-based panels), wall anchors are usually not necessary. Wall anchors, screws, and detailed mounting instructions<\/a> are included with each picture ledge. <\/span>What size of picture frames fit on the Oak 02 Picture Ledge?<\/div>
The space for prints, pictures and frames is about 7.5 cm deep. Please keep this dimension in mind when planning your personal gallery, so that your frames stand in a stable position on the picture ledge.
\nTip: Take the largest and thickest frame you want to place on the picture ledge and walk to a wall. Place the frame on the floor and lean it against the wall. Push the picture frame up against the wall as steeply as you can. When you have found the point where the frame will not tilt, use a folding rule to measure the distance from the wall to the front edge of the frame (note: measure baseboard as well, if necessary).
